Asia/PAC

Life has been really good lately….a bit hectic but GOOD!!!
We have an Asia/Pacific Regional day coming up soon and it is a day where we get to show our culture and food to the other students here and there is a show at night and i am leading a dance…of course!!! ahahah actually i am leading 2 and going to be in 3 and i am also a MC!!! which is going to be awesome. but i couldnt perform an Aboriginal dance because i havent got the music and i didnt want to be greedy and be in everything. anyways so im leading a koren pop dance called Candy in my ear!! ahaha it is really fun and the first practice is tonight and then i am co leading/helping out in the polynesian fusion dance with the fijian because he doesnt want to show the girl moves to the girls and then i am going to be in the…wait for it!!! POKEMON DANCE!!!! ahahah i know it is going to be so funny and i was like I HAVE TO DO IT!!! just to have a laugh!!! =] so yeah thats life at the moment for me…

The Asia Pacific Day Prep.

well for the Asia Pac regional dance….it looks like im leading a k pop dance!! ahaha its sooo funny…the song is called “candy in my ear” look it up on you tube…

well it should turn out good…and im in charge of the party…i didnt even ask to do it….i was told to do it….i wonder what that says about the vibe i am giving here???….

ahah…..anyways….other than that…i did my french test today…not very fun…i think i did fine!!! but i cant wait for the week to be over…

Pearson is getting to me….i’m glad that we have project week coming up…it is a week were the students are kicked out of school and they have to do some sort of service to the communities or something like that…so i am doing a mini show….its going to be fun….every day i will perform and teach different primary schools!!! and an old folks home…

What else happened this week….the Fire fighters came into my room at 6 50 to wake up my roomie so they screamed all together for her to get up…which in turn woke me up!!! ahahah

life is pretty good….kinda hectic at the moment but still good…the weather is getting to me!! all week there has been fog, rain and cold winds….and then i see photos from back home and i get sooo jealous!!!! ahaha

oh and i want to write HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANE FOR YESTERDAY!!!! it was sooo good to talk to you and i am sooo bummed about not being abled to see you when i come home for Christmas….

Quick Hello =]

Hey everyone…so ive been planing a surprise for you all very soon but i dont know if it is going to work or not….im still learning how to use it! =]

but if i know but friday…oh crap thats tomorrow….hmmm….i have to pratice now!

ahhh…anyways the Middle eastern indian regional day is coming up this Saturday so i am very excited because i am in 2 indian dances…they are Jai Ho and Marrajarni im so excited for marrajarni…it is kinda like the best dance showing….anyways all the UWC board members are here for  a conference….so we all have to behave and stuff..

The weather has made me so depressed lately…it has always been cloudy or it is wet…i dont like it…i miss the sun shining on my face…

I miss the little things from back home…

I miss;

1. the doors opening inwards
2. having the sun wake me up
3. being too hot that i have to sleep ontop of the blankets
4. saying good morning to my family
5. seeing my friend’s faces when i am arriving at school
6. taking 10 minutes to walk to school
7. being apart of the SRC
8. having my hip hop dancers
9. talking to people i have grown to love and adore
10. having time to myself to think about the things i believe are important!

You kow i could go on and on…but i have to stop because this entry is already boring enough.

I love you all…and see you in under 3 months!

Thanks Giving Weekend

so canada celebrates thanks giving…not the same time that america does…but still they celebrate it!
It becomes a long weekend where we give thanks to the people and life that we have! so for thanks giving…i celebrated it with my Asia Pac Group and the north americans….my family while im here!
Now this is a very small family only consisting of 6 teenagers…Trish, Nile, Myself, Sangay, Erik and Logan!
we travelled into Victoria for the day and hung out as a family later in the srvo we had dinner in a restraute at China Town!!! ahahah i know….the food was good
then some of us stopped for ice cream while the rest went to starbucks….after that…we spent the rest of the night walking around Victoria taking a look at its night life…which they apperantly have none of…seriously the whole time i was there i did not see one club or party or group of young people….it was so strange to see…being that in Sydney, every night you will be able to see the night life! =] but yeah…
The night wasnt over…when i arrived back at Pearson it was movie time so i went visit my friends in MCL and we watched Troy….ahahah thought i was back in Ancient history class. and then we just sat up talking and making fun of each other until it was time for bed.
Next day was thanks giving dinner in the caf! with a candle light turkey dinner and that was very nice i tried pumpkin pie for the first and last time in my life!!! it was not nice at all but the north Americans ate everyone’s who didnt like it! ahaha
And yeah…..that was my first thanks giving at Pearson College!
so i suppose that now i will tell you what i am thankful for! Okay i am thankful for my family back home…no matter how bad things will get i know you will stick by me in any situation…and for that i love you…i am thankful for my friends back home…..and how no matter how much you guys teased my stupidness…i knew you all loved me and will always be there for me… i really do miss you all very much…and i am thankful for the friends i have gained along the many activities ive been through back home…because of the people like state….i have been able to fell more confident and open towards complete strangers! and the friends i have gained here at pearson college…who make me laugh each and everyday and who wont mind to get up randomly and start dancing with me or have crazy sayings like “say what?…..Oh no she didn’t!” and for that…i love you! and last but not least! i am thankful for the life i have and the opportunities given to me!
So thank you all =]

Marine science!

So right now it is a TOK block which i dont start until the end of project week…which i will tell you about later on =]
ok…so next block i have an exam about the phylums that the marine life belongs too…hopefully it isnt to hard to remember 7 different phylums and their characteristics! well…ill tell you how it goes once i do it…
life has been good…plans for project week have been coming along smoothly and it is all in place now =]
The Canadian thanks giving is coming up this weekend which means LONG WEEKEND!!!! YAY i cant wait to have a monday doing nothing!…
so im trying to write regularly now…but sometimes my life is just to hectic so i wont have time….
i miss you all…and i look at my photos everyday…so i dont forget you when i come back for christmas…

Over the week

so north american regional day was awesome….they was a nice dinner, a show…which i performed in and then a dance party!!!! i know it was pretty good for the first regional day this yr.
next is middle east and the woot!! the Asia pac!! =]
umm…and then it was school…same old same old…just a lot of work and little excitement…
i went to town on saturday!! =] it was good…i brought a quilt since i was getting really cold at night…some shampoo! can you believe they dont have organic care!?!?! oh my gosh! i couldnt believe it =]
umm….had maccas for the first time in AGESSS!!!! and went to wall mart and just hung out there…. ahaha i was with a couple of friends and we got lost more than once! =] it is soooo big! =]
anyways….i reliese that when i have nothing to do…i start to think about home and i remember all the crazy memories=] i miss it sometimes…but then again i am making my own crazy memories here too =]

Quick Update =]

Hey guys…so the life at pearson is a bit hectic at the moment…i just found out my student job! it is the health centre assisent on Friday afternoons…i know the friday afternoon thing sucks but i get to use my first aide for something here! and it will help me revise it! i am missing everyone back home sooo much…i want to hear all your voices so bad!!!

Okay so a full update! i have cup a dead sea lion into little pieces and boiled and scrapped off the flesh and meat off the bones with my own two hands that was awesome!!!

ummm…i performed at the north american regional day and if i can gett my hands on a video of it i will put it up! =] ummm…i have had a lot of reading to do and i passed my french tests…i got 73% for numbers and 100% for the introductions Yay ME!!!

I am learning soo much about the northern hemisphere stars…which im kinda bummed about not being abled to learn more about the land down under ones….but that ok…i will =] last week for Metchosen fire fighting i painted the building and the week before that i got to wash the fire trucks =] that was really fun…i know it seems boring but oof course i made it fun..

ahhh…PROJECT WEEK is coming up…so i can do anything i want for a whole week…im thinking of going to vancouver with a bunch of people and we will volunteer at the soup kitchen and hace random performances on the street so i might be dancing and my friend will sing and yeah it so like its going to be crazy fun =] i love it and cant wait

What eles dont you know…ummm….people love the aussie accent so yeah and they always pick on me about the way i pronouce things =] which is cool…i was use to it because of shane and aydn

Right now life is good…i am missing everyone like crazy but it is good….it has been a long journey so far but it is the beggining =] oh and photos are up on my facebook now =] check it out =] <3

1st Week @ Pearson!

Hey all, so sorry i have been so busy just trying to get use to a new and exciting place…okay so its been a week since my last blog! i know its long but there was nothing i could do about that! i have just been so very busy…

and in the last week i have travelled across the pacific ocean, leaving my family and friends behind…lost my luggage for the first 2-3 days i have started at a new school! became very clumsy, causing myself to bleed from a door frame! ( i know how lame is that!!!) ahahah talked to people from all over the world, climbed up many hills (more than i have in my life time), been to the beach while it was cold! ahhah…(i know!…who does that!) passed my bike test on a sunny day as well as my swimming test!…been introduced to bollywood dancing, have had one to many G’day mates! ahah seen a snake (not as big as the one back home), and 2 crabs…hmmm…And i was finally abled to touch the facebook friends that i have been talking to over the past month before i came!

So yeah…my life has been pretty hectic over the past week…and i havent had time to think about myself, my family, or my friends back home for long periods of time! but i do miss you all…and i am excited to come home for christmas…currently…it is cool and wet and one of the worst days Australia could have! so i am missing the sun so much!…

Well thats it for now…i am going to try to have time to write a blog every day but if not…its on here when its on here!!!

Bonnyrigg These Days…

Hmmm…bonnyrigg people these days!!! ARGHHH!!!! This makes me happy that i am leaving…some Bonnyrigg Bogans…jumped my fence and tried to steal something (don’t know what it is coz it was dark so we have to check in the morning if they took anything)…ARGH!

We heard something coming from the backyard and my dogs were barking and going crazy…so my mum and dad went out there to see what was going on and they heard noises….hmmm….so we all kinda got freaked out and had torches and baseball and cricket bats with us…it would have been funny if it wasn’t so serious!!

But what i’m mostly angry at is…we have an idea of who it was…and its someone that we talk to like nearly everyday…my mum and dad took them under their wing…and looked after him…whenever their in trouble…mum and dad look after them…and this is how they repay them!!! My mum helps everyone around our area…she goes out of her way to help the people in our community (you don’t know how many troubled people come to knock on my doorstep asking for mum)…and then they come into our backyard and steal from us?!?!? It’s not right!

I’m just angry at what the people in our community did to us…people talk about how much they respect my mum and us and then these people jump the fence!!! GOSH!!!

hmmm….

 

Okay…well hopefully when i wake up tomorrow…nothing is missing and everything will be fine for my family party!!! 2 days to go Talk to you all later!!
